Hello PKN
This week the PKN children are learning to name and say the sound of letter Gg for Golden Girl. We are reading the Gg story, singing the alphabet song and working on different letter activities such as making Gg with play dough, tracing Gg with crayons.. The children also painted green grapes. In math, the children are learning number seven. They are working on how to make sets of 7 objects using unifix cubes, buttons and small plastic animals. Also the children are identifying number 7 and trying to trace it using different materials.Here is a good number seven song the children love it:

In social studies, the children brought their family pictures to share with their friends. We talked about moms, dads, sisters, brothers, grandpa and grandma. We also found out that some families are the same and others are different. Then we made a family graph to see how many we are in a family. The children did a great job learning about the differences in the families. They learned that some families have 2 children and others have 3 children.... Here are the pictures:
