This week is We Love To Read week. Lots of reading activities are going on in the classroom. Monday we had Rock'n Read day. The students enjoyed listening to lots of different stories. We are reading many books in the classroom. I am encouraging you parents to come and read to your children in any language. It is so important to read books daily.
In literacy this week we are reviewing letters from Oo to Ss. We are singing the alphabet songs, saying the letter sound and tracing letters with pencils, oil pastel and play dough.
In math we are counting numbers from one to ten, making sets of 10 objects and playing number games such as where is the bear?, the number bingo and the domino game. We are also learning how we collect information through graphing. Here are the pictures:
Please note that today and Thursday is an early dismissal. The school finishes at 12.30.
