This week the children are learning to say Dd for Dippy Duck. They are singing the alphabet song, tracing letter Dd. The children are also trying to come up with words starting with Dd such as door, duck, dog, day... Here are some pictures:

In math, PKN are learning to recognize rectangles, they are making rectangles with play dough and singing the shape song. Here is a good song on rectangles:
Also, the children are working on number 4: They are learning to recognize number 4, trace number 4 using different materials, make sets of 4 objects... Here is a good song about number 4:

In social studies time, the children learning to keep themselves clean. We are teaching the children to wash their hands before they eat and after using the bathroom. We invited the school nurse to talk about it. Here are the photos:
